Learn more about the Anthea Summer Flower Share

Think of it as a subscription to fresh flowers on your table all summer long! The summer flower share is just that, a share of the flower harvest in the form of either 5 or 10 weekly bouquets from July to September. Signing up in advance allows me to insure that all my flowers will have a home by the time they start blooming in force.

Flowers at my micro farm are grown from seed, bulb, or tuber with regenerative practices and without chemicals. The week’s freshest blooms are harvested by hand and formed into unique, bespoke, and colorful bouquets. The selection of color palettes, textures, and varieties evolve from week to week through the whole season. I stay in touch with you via email with tips on caring for cut flowers, instructions on drying your blooms, and insights about the week’s harvest.

Your flowers can be picked up at a fellow flower share member’s residence for easy contactless pickup. Locations include Northwest and Southeast Roseville, Seward, Longfellow, and Linden Hills/Fulton neighborhoods in Minneapolis, and Como and Mac Groveland neighborhoods in St. Paul. You also can volunteer your residence or business as a pickup location for your neighborhood. Delivery to individual residences or businesses is available on a case by case basis with a fee, assuming it is within a 10 mile radius of Roseville.

Yes! The flowers will be arranged in a quart sized mason jar. You are free to use the jar or transfer the flowers to your vase that has been sitting empty around your home!
Hello and Welcome! I’m Leigh.
I am inspired by the ability flowers have to spark creativity, to connect us with nature, and to show our gratitude to others. Flowers are at the center of our sacred life events. As for me, flowers are a connection to loved ones who have passed and to beloved summers spent caring for local gardens in my community.
I started growing cut flowers in 2021 and then in 2022 I started Anthea (An-thay-ah), from the ancient Greek meaning "friend of flowers,” so I could find a home for the buckets and buckets of flowers I had learned to grow while continuing to build my skills and grow this small business. Take a look around my website to learn more about my flower shares. Find me on Instagram @leighjirges for more in the moment updates on my micro flower farm. Last but not least, connect by signing up for my occasional email newsletter so we can stay in touch all year round as I share timely updates and meditations on flower farming.
Sharing the flower harvest is a highlight of my summer. I cannot wait to put my headphones in, listen to podcasts, and gather the best blooms each week. I hope some of these flowers will end up in your home!
